Join Northridge of Nevada City on Wednesday, August 27th from 4:30 to 8:30 PM for a special evening in support of the Children’s Festival, in partnership with the Gold Country Kiwanis.
Sponsored By Brewbilt!!! Roll snake eyes for Roll the Dice Wednesday and receive a small Brewbilt Prize!!!
Enjoy a delicious meal while helping raise funds for art supplies that will inspire imagination and joy at this year’s Children’s Festival on Saturday, October 4th.
🍽️ 10% of all sales during the event will be donated directly to the cause.

Hot Rod Happy Hour
Chrome, camaraderie, and cold drinks—Hot Rod Happy Hour is rolling back into Nevada City!
Join us at The Northridge on Saturday, August 16th from 2–4 PM for a celebration of style, sound, and summer fun. Our parking lot transforms into a retro playground featuring:
🚗 Classic cars & motorcycles with serious personality
🎶 Live Rockabilly music by Edlebrock
🍔 Tasty food & drink specials
💃 Rockabilly costume contest—dress to impress and dance the afternoon away
👨👩👧👦 Family-friendly vibes with plenty of photo ops and good times
Whether you’re a gearhead, a music lover, or just looking for a fun afternoon out, Hot Rod Happy Hour is the place to be. Free to attend—just bring your style and your smile!
Rockabilly Costume Contest

🕑 Photo Time: 2–4 PM (by one of the classic hot rods)

🗳️ Voting ends: August 20th at 3:00 PM
👗 How to Enter
Dress in your best rockabilly-inspired outfit—think pin-up glam, greaser cool, or retro rebel.
Pose by a hot rod between 2 & 4 PM. Northridge staff will snap your photo.
Your photo will be posted on Northridge’s Facebook page later that evening.
👕 Costume Guidelines
Must reflect 1950s rockabilly fashion (e.g., poodle skirts, pompadours, polka dots).
Keep it family-friendly—no offensive or overly revealing attire.
👍 Voting
Voting is based on Facebook reactions to your photo posted on the Northridge page.
Encourage friends and fans to react on the original post.
The voting closes August 20th at 3:00 PM.
Winners will be announced shortly after.
🎁 Prizes
100+ reactions = $25 Northridge gift certificate
Most reactions = $50 Northridge gift certificate

Open to all ages. Under 18 requires signed photo release, by parent or guardian.
One entry per person.
No registration—just show up in costume and strike a pose!
By entering, you grant permission for promotional use of your photo.
🤝 Code of Conduct
Be respectful to others and staff.
No harassment or disruptive behavior.
Northridge may remove entries that violate guidelines.
Slick back that hair, fluff up those skirts, and let your rockabilly spirit shine.

Help young swimmers, ages 5 to 18, dive into confidence, teamwork, and lifelong skills. The Orca Swim Team fosters a nurturing learning environment where kids are mentored through every stage of their journey, growing into strong, capable swimmers. Your contribution ensures access to expert coaching, supportive teammates, and the opportunity to thrive in and out of the water.

10% of every purchase on Monday, July 21st from 4:30pm to 8:30pm will go towards training equipment for the team at all skill levels. Dine in and take out apply. Please mention the fundraiser when you stop by. Over 200 Nevada County families participate in this program every season, thank you for your support!

Dine & Donate: Grass Valley Charter School
10% of sales at the Northridge of Nevada City go towards children's Expeditionary Learning at Grass Valley Charter School.
Learning expeditions are purposeful, extensive studies of a single topic. They revolve around challenging projects, fieldwork, adventure, and service, culminating in exhibits, performances, or publications.
