Hot Cars and Cold Beer! – Hot Rod Happy Hour at Northridge

Get ready for an afternoon of chrome, craftsmanship, and community at Hot Rod Happy Hour — where we celebrate the rides we love and the people who build, restore, and admire them. Join us on Saturday, August 22 from 2:00–4:00 PM at Northridge of Nevada City for a relaxed meet‑up made for car and motorcycle enthusiasts of all kinds.

Bring your hot rods, classics, customs, motorcycles, restorations, and projects from any decade. No registration is required — just roll in, park, and enjoy the scene. The Northridge parking lot will be reserved exclusively for participating cars and motorcycles, giving everyone plenty of room to show off their pride and joy.

Pair the perfect afternoon lineup of hot cars and cold beer with great food, friendly faces, and a community that loves all things on wheels.

Event Details

Photo Time: 2–4 PM (pose with one of the classic hot rods) Photos Posted: Same the next day on Facebook Voting Ends: August 26th at 3:00 PM

How to Enter

• Dress in your best rockabilly‑inspired outfit — pin‑up glam, greaser cool, or retro rebel.

• Pose by a hot rod between 2–4 PM. Northridge staff will take your photo.

• Your photo will be posted on the Northridge Facebook page later that evening.

Costume Guidelines

• Outfits must reflect 1950s rockabilly fashion (poodle skirts, pompadours, polka dots, leather jackets).

• Keep attire family‑friendly — no offensive or overly revealing clothing.

Voting

• Voting is based on Facebook reactions to your posted photo.

• Encourage friends and fans to react on the original post.

• Voting closes August 26th at 3:00 PM.

• Winners announced shortly after.

Prizes

• 100+ reactions → $30 Northridge gift certificate

• Most reactions overall → $50 Northridge gift certificate

• Multiple winners possible!
